rainfall totals high toward parkville and perry hall. about a quarter to half-inch, most of us got that this morning but some spots did get some higher totals and a couple of the downpours. temperatures right now, rather upper 70s, highs around 80 and humidity much higher now over easton and back through the eastern shore as opposed to baltimore westward. so dry air coming in. i wish i could tell you it will stay a while. we think dry tonight and early tomorrow. then we're looking at more rain. most of the rain well offshore except for the one shower we were looking at earlier toward carroll county. satellite and radar trend, our area of low pressure now over the great lakes. the problem is the boundary south of that area of low pressure still looking a little ominous in terms of we think another area of low pressure is going to spin up on the boundary off the carolinas. you can see it on our forecast model here. the storm begins to gets its act together tomorrow evening. we'll be dry through the evening rush and looking for the rain tom

parkville today. hurricaney start there. look at how thick the fog is there. then we get that hot hazy sunshine into the picture. frederick triple digits today on the weather net sites. chestertown up through galina. statewide these numbers not looking too much different unless you are way out west to oakland. that was cooler in oaks city. most of the area was sitting into the heat this morning. there is no doubt about it. as we look at the numbers now, the heat index numbers as we speak still feeling close to 100 in easton. still feeling like mid 90s out there for us. the winds have been steady out there. out of the south. bringing up that warm humid air. that will continue tomorrow but we will begin to see the winds shift a little bit as the cool shift way out here in ohio. it will take awhile to get in here. we think by midday this front crosses the area. we still warm up across the sunshine. but as we go into the night tomorrow, things will begin to cool off behind this cool front. it will push the hot weather pattern out to the east and allow that cooler
